The LAF offers support in ways that Sunflowers to Roses values by improving the quality of life for those living with, through and beyond cancer. The LAF promotes education, prevention and early detection to reduce the impact of cancer on a national scale. Past S2R participants attended the LAF's LiveStrong Challenge Ride. Learn more

Sunflowers to Roses was founded in 2003 in honor of Jack Lockton, founder of Lockton companies who was waging his battle against pancreatic cancer and Chris Anthony, a loving husband and father who lost his battle against brain cancer. Both Chris and Jack were inspired by Lance Armstrong's triumph over cancer and subsequent Tour de France victories. In Jack's and Chris's memory, Sunflowers to Roses was established by family, friends and coworkers and lives on to educate others about cancer and lift the human spirit through remarkable events.
