Sunflowers to Roses is a Kansas City-based nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting cancer and promoting our core values of family, fitness and fun.

Sunflowers to Roses was founded in 2003 in honor of Jack Lockton, founder of Lockton companies who was waging his battle against pancreatic cancer and Chris Anthony, a loving husband and father who lost his battle against brain cancer. Both Chris and Jack were inspired by Lance Armstrong’s triumph over cancer and subsequent Tour de France victories. In Jack’s and Chris’s memory, Sunflowers to Roses was established by family, friends and coworkers and lives on to educate others about cancer and lift the human spirit through remarkable events.
